Rabbani slams PM Imran’s statement on creation of ‘Tiger Force’
ISLAMABAD: Former Senate chairman Mian Raza Rabbani came hard on the government on “Tiger Force” and saying that the statement of the Prime Minister Imran Khan made has dashed to the ground all hopes that the war against the pandemic is going to be a national effort.
“It is unfortunate that the government is using this human suffering to further a political agenda,” he said while commenting on the prime minister addressed to Tiger Force in Lahore on Saturday.
Rabbani said the creation of the Tiger Force read with statement of the prime minster, is a clear message, if you want to have support of the state to fight the virus then you must be a member of the ruling party.
Rabbani said this was a time to unite the nation in the war against the coronavirus instead it is being used to further a narrow political agenda of the ruling party.
“These actions have proved that the government is a diverse force in Pakistan’s politics,” he said. The former Senate chairman said the cat is out of the bag in order to survive change your political affliction.
