SUKKUR: Hundreds of thousands of daily wagers, laborerers protested across Sindh on Sunday, asking the provincial government to provide ration and basic necessities during the lockdown amid the outbreak of coronavirus.
Report said the protesters were on the streets after the Sindh government completely failed to develop a ration distribution mechanism that multiplied the miseries of the daily wagers who were among the sufferers. On the other hand, the government has been working on the ration distribution mechanism for nearly 50,000 to 70,000 of the needy people of each district of the province.
