Four minors killed as wall collapses in Orakzai
HANGU: Four children of a family were killed and a man sustained injuries when the boundary-wall of a house collapsed in Manikhel Dora area in Lower Orakzai district on Sunday. Police officials said that boundary wall of Ghulam Nabi’s house in Manikhel Dora area collapsed all of a sudden, burying four children of family and a man alive.
Soon after the incident, the police and locals retrieved the bodies and rescued the injured person from the rubble and shifted them to the hospital in Kalaya. The dead were identified as Kashif, Zahid, Siraat Ali and Nekmina. Their grandfather, Nabi Ghulam, sustained injuries in the incident. It was learnt that the recent torrential rains had weakened the structure of house and the family was not able to reconstruct it.
