Delay in justice undermines judiciary’s image: LHC CJ

LAHORE: Lahore High Court (LHC) Chief Justice Manzoor Ahmed Malik has said on Saturday that the delay in justice undermines judiciary’s respect in the eyes of public, urging the lawyers to play their role in dispensation of speedy justice.
In his speech delivered at the Punjab Judicial Academy, the LHC chief justice said the implementation of justice was not possible without the help of lawyers.
He said that the lawyers were helpers and supporters of courts.
He asked the lawyers to keep their role in view in dispensation of justice as image of courts is affected due to delay in justice.
