Nominations for SAARC business body praised
PESHAWAR: A former vice-president of the Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI), Riaz Khattak, has hailed the nomination of Iftikhar Ali Malik as president of the SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Haji Ghulam Ali as vice-president respectively.
In a statement issued here, he praised FPCCI President Mian Anjum Nisar for nominating Iftikhar Ali Malik for the post of president and Haji Ghulam Ali as vice-president of the SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Both, he hoped, would bring improvement in the role of SAARC chamber and trade in the region. Riaz Khattak said that Haji Ghulam Ali is an experienced businessman who has served the sector in various capacities. It is hoped he will play a role in the enhancement of trade and coordination among the SAARC countries, he added.
