Shadab named Islamabad United captain for PSL

LAHORE: Pakistan Super League franchise, Islamabad United has appointed Test cricketer Shadab Khan as its captain for season five, beginning from February 20. Addressing a press conference here, franchise owner Ali Naqvi said: “It has been decided to unilaterally designate Shadab Khan as captain.” Shadab on his part felt it as a privilege. “It is a privilege to lead Islamabad United,” said Shadab. Naqvi said they are planning to create a festival-like atmosphere around stadiums.
