Jirga convened to discuss Orakzai IDPs return

HANGU: The Muttahidda Qabail Party (MQP) Thursday convened a grand jirga of the 18 tribes of Orakzai Agency to discuss the return process
of the internally displaced persons (IDPs) to their native areas on September 21.
Speaking at a press conference here, Habib Noor Orakzai, vice-chairman of the party, lauded Governor Sardar Mahtab Ahmad Khan for the announcement of the return process of Orakzai Agency to their homes. He welcomed the announcement and asked the government, political administration and Fata Disaster Management Authority (FDMA) to also make arrangements for the early return of the IDPs to the surrounding localities of Ghaljo tehsil in upper parts of Orakzai Agency.
