Lahore frigid at 3°C; rain forecast

LAHORE: Partly cloudy weather continued to prevail in the City while mercury dropped to 3°C here Friday. Met office predicted a rainy weekend.
Met officials said that strong westerly wave is likely to enter western parts of Balochistan and likely to grip most parts of the country on Sunday.
They predicted that widespread rain with snowfall over hills is expected in all districts of Balochistan, while at isolated places in upper Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.
Cold and dry weather (with cloudy weather condition) is expected in other parts of the country, while very cold in northern parts. Fog is likely to prevail in few districts of south/central Punjab and upper Sindh during morning.
