Woman’s body found

OKARA: A body of a 50-year-old woman was recovered in Habibabad in the limits of Chuchak police on Monday.

The locals informed the police about the body of Sima Bibi of Bhutto Colony and the police dispatched it to hospital for an autopsy.

TWO INJURED IN ROAD ACCIDENT: Two people sustained injuries when their rickshaw plunged into a canal on Monday. Two men were carrying a buffalo in a loader rickshaw when the rickshaw fell in the canal near village 31/4L because of its fast speed. As a result, they both suffered injuries and the buffalo died.

TWELVE GAMBLERS HELD: Police arrested twelve people over gambling in cock fight in Waris Colony Park on Monday. A-Division police arrested Muhammad Parvez, Abdur Razzaq, Rai Faisal Abbas, Ishtiaq, Amin, Usman, Iftikhar, Qamar Zaman, Maqsood Ahmed, Mubashir Iqbal, Saleem and Saqib Masih.
