LAHORE: A group of lawyers protesting for the release of their detained colleagues at Safanwala Chowk Friday stopped a bus carrying students of Fatima Jinnah Medical University.
The slogan chanting lawyers punched and kicked the bus while some of lawyers also boarded the bus, which created panic among students, who started shouting for help.
The situation also sent a wave of concern among the passers-by, who tried to intervene in the matter. The driver and conductor of the bus also requested lawyers to allow them to go, while some shopkeepers and pedestrians intervened in the matter. After some time, lawyers allowed the bus to go without any harm.
