KP lawyers observe strike

PESHAWAR: Lawyers across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Monday observed strike against the KP Civil Procedure (Amendment) Act 2019 and the KP Control of Narcotics Substance Act 2019.The lawyer community is observing a three-day strike against the recent legislation and will not appear before the courts till Wednesday. The lawyers also did not appear before the courts on Friday while they will continue not to appear before any court for coming two days. —Bureau report
