Visually impaired women convention

The first convention of visually impaired females was held in Iqbal Hall, Jhang. The convention was arranged by Pakistan Association of the Blind (PAB) Jhang. More than 83 females from across the country participated in convention. The purpose of the event was to resolve issues of all females.

The participants expressed their concern that they are not getting equal rights. PAB General Secretary Muhammad Usman shed light on the issues of the blind in Jhang and assured the deprived women that they will get equal rights.

The chief guests of the convention were Social Welfare DO Azar Abass Adil, Chairperson of Inner Wheel Angel Aisha and Chairman of Pakistan Disabled Foundation Shahid Ahmad Memon.
