PFA guard shot at, injured

LAHORE:Some unidentified suspects shot at and injured the security guard of Punjab Food Authority when he was on his way to office on Monday.

The victim identified as Tahir reached near his office on Wahdat Road when two bikers approached him and opened fire.

As a result, he received bullet injuries. He was rushed to hospital. Police reached the scene after being informed and collected evidences.

MURDER CASE REGISTERED: Misri Shah police have registered a case against the suspects involved in murder of two brothers over a petty dispute.

A case has been registered under Section 302, 324 and 34 of PPC on the complaint of victims’ mother Zarina Begum against Asif Kala and Kashif Masih. The victims identified as Abdul Hadi alias Abdul Rehman and Faizan. The accused persons were drug pushers and they had also attacked on cops. Police teams are conducting raids to arrest the killers.

MANHANDLING: Former chief executive officer of a bank barged into the head office of the bank in Naseerabad and manhandled with the staff on Monday.

Police reached the scene and took Ahsan Rafiq and his accomplices into custody. The accused person wanted to take away bank record with him. On refusal, he started scuffling with the staff. Police reached the scene after being informed and took the accused persons into custody.
