A man died of electrocution in the Hawkes Bay area on Friday. The incident took place in Musharraf Colony within the limits of the Mauripur police station. Police and rescuers said the man, identified as 32-year-old Nadir Lal, son of Lal Masih, died after he received electric shocks from an electricity pole. He was first taken to Murshid Hospital where doctors pronounced him dead. His family took his body away with them without allowing medico-legal formalities.
