Death from toxic herbs: Another child dies at Peshawar hospital
NOWSHERA: Another child died of complications developed after consuming some poisonous herbs in Jehangira area in the district.
The girl identified as Nadia, 5, the daughter of one Siraj Jan, was under treatment at the Khyber Teaching Hospital (KTH) in Peshawar along with two other children.
It may be mentioned that three children had died and the condition of three others had worsened after consuming some poisonous herbs in Jehangira a few days back. The children were playing near a graveyard when they consumed the toxic herbs.
The children were rushed to a hospital, where three of them identified as Nauman, 5, Salim, 9, and Ismail had died. However, Nadia, Imran and Abuzr were under treatment at KTH. Nadia has died while the other two children are still under treatment.
