CHARSADDA: Issuing flood warning, the district administration directed the people living on the banks of Kabul and Swat rivers to shift to safer places as the rivers were in high floods.
Assistant Commissioner Noor Wali Khan said that the warning was issued due to rise in the water level in the Kabul and Swat rivers at Charsadda. He said that there was a potential threat of floods due to heavy rains in Swat district and other areas and fast glacier melting.
