Vote transfer date extended
TIMERGARA: District Election Commissioner (DEC) Chitral and Upper Dir Inayatur Rahman has asked voters registered on a third address other than two addresses in their national identity cards (NIC) from both Chitral and Upper Dir districts to transfer their votes on one of the two addresses mentioned in their NIC before May 30.
Talking to this correspondent here at Timergara, the official said the Election Commission of Pakistan had extended date for transfer and registration of votes on an original address in view of local government elections to be held this year. He urged the people whose votes were registered on a third address to transfer or register their votes through form 21 available in the offices of DEC or assistant registration officers (AROs) before May 30 so that they may not be deprived of their right to enfranchisement.
