Rupee appreciates

The rupee continued to appreciate against the dollar in the currency market on Friday, as demand and supply of the US currency remained in balance, dealers said. The rupee ended 101.75 against the greenback, up five paisas as compared to the previous closing of 101.80 in the interbank market. In the open market, the rupee was traded at 103 for buying and 103.20 for selling against the greenback.
