Social security hospitals role lauded

LAHORE: Minister for Labour and Human Resource Ansar Majeed Khan has said hospital management information system in social security hospitals of Punjab is the best gift for facilitating the labourers and their family members by Labour and Human Resource Department Punjab.

This was stated by him while inaugurating the state-of-the-art hospital management information system for the social security hospitals of Punjab here on Monday. An MoU signing ceremony was held at Arfa Karim Tower. Additional Chief Secretary Punjab Capt (R) Ijaz Jaffar, Secretary Labour Punjab Sarah Aslam, Commissioner Punjab Employees Social Security Institution (PESSI) Saqib Manan, Chairman PITB Asghar Mansoor and Director Shaukat Khanum Hospital Dr Faisal Sultan and a large number of people were present. Commissioner PESSI Saqib Manan gave a briefing about the working of the department. He said labourers will be given their basic rights. The whole department will be shifted on automation. He said that labourers and their family members are being provided best healthcare facilities in social security hospitals.
