NAB for placing Miftah, Hamza, Salman, Khaqan on ECL
Former finance minister Miftah Ismail was being investigated along with former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi in import of LNG and LNG terminal scam.
ISLAMABAD: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has recommended to Interior Ministry to place the names of former finance minister Miftah Ismail, opposition leader in Punjab Assembly Hamza Shahbaz and his brother Salman Shahbaz on the Exit Control List (ECL). According to sources, the NAB has recommended the name of former finance minister Miftah Ismail for placement on the ECL with regard to the ongoing investigation on the import of LNG and LNG terminal.
Former finance minister Miftah Ismail was being investigated along with former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi in import of LNG and LNG terminal scam.
The names of Hamza Shahbaz and Salman Shahbaz were recommended by the NAB with regard to ongoing probe into alleged assets beyond known source of income. Earlier, on the recommendation of NAB, the Interior Ministry placed the name of Shahid Khaqan Abbassi on the ECL.
