Marquez, Lorenzo crash at Qatar
DOHA: Marc Marquez showed his world champion class, shrugging off a fall in the third free practice at the Qatar MotoGP on Saturday while his compatriot and teammate Jorge Lorenzo was unable to continue after a heavy fall.
In visible pain, Lorenzo was taken for medical treatment and did not get back on his Honda after crashing on his first fast lap.
Marquez crashed just a few seconds later, going wide on a corner and folding his bike. The resilient Spaniard got straight back into action to again set the pace with a lap of 1min 54.677sec over the 5.38km.
