Minister invited to Caspian Agro

ISLAMABAD: The Ambassador of Azerbaijan, Ali Alizada invited Federal Minister for National Food Security and Research Sahibzada Muhammad Mehboob Sultan to attend Caspian Agro 2019 and also to introduce potential mango and rice exporters.
The ambassador called on the minister in Islamabad on Tuesday, where the two discussed enhanced agriculture cooperation. They agreed that efforts would be made from both sides for signing memorandum of understanding to increase Pakistan’s volume of potatoes, citrus and mango exports to Azerbaijan. Both the countries have established Joint Working Group on agriculture cooperation, and the first meeting in this regard was held in December 2017; while the second meeting of JWG was likely to be held this year.
