Moot on Islamisation of laws from tomorrow
Islamabad : The Shariah Academy of International Islamic University will organise a national Conference from February 26 to Feb 28 on 'Islamisation of laws in Pakistan: an overview of the role of constitutional institutions'.
The three-day moot will be attended by renowned personalities from the legal community, including Supreme Court judge Qazi Faez Isa and former Supreme Court chief justice Jawad S Khawaja, teachers, researchers, lawyers, scholars, and journalists.
It will be organised to evaluate the ways and mechanisms provided for the Islamisation of laws in Pakistan and to identify and evaluate the Islamised laws. The participants will also examine the impediments to the process of Islamisation of laws and will highlight future prospects for Islamisation of laws.
