Two Pak pairs get bye to move into Junior Tennis quarters

KARACHI: Two Pakistani pairs got byes to move into the quarter-finals of Syed Tajammul Abbas ITF Pakistan World Junior Ranking Tennis Championships at PTF Tennis Complex, Islamabad, on Monday.
Due to heavy rain in Islamabad, ITF supervisor Mohammad Arif Qureshi called off all the matches scheduled on Monday and took doubles draws of boys and girls in the presence of all the players.
According to the draws, top seed pair of Huzaifa Abdul Rehman and Shoaib Khan got bye in the first round and moved into the quarter-finals. The second seed pair of Nauman Aftab and Saqib Hayat also got bye. It is to be noted that as many as 34 foreign players are participating in this championship that is to be played from February 18-23.
