FIA arrests 9 unauthoritised agents
The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) during an action arrested nine un-authorised agents outside the office of the Protectorate of Immigrants in Gulbahar.
Akhtar Hayat Gandapur, the director FIA, told reporters that nine people were arrested when a team of the agency conducted a raid on information that unauthorised agents were collecting money from people outside the office of Protectorate of Immigrants. The agents were charging an extra amount from the public. Those arrested during the raid included Asif Khan, Mohammad Sohail, Sajid Rehman, Tanveer, Mateenullah, Shahzad Gul, Iftikhar Ali, Javed Gul and Nasir Khan. Meanwhile, the FIA conducted a raid on a book store selling pirated books in Abbottabad. The owner of the store, Mohammad Khurshid, was arrested and 82 pirated books were recovered. The raid was conducted along with the officials of the Oxford University Press.
