Zone II win ‘I am Karachi U19 Cricket Tournament’

KARACHI: KCCA Zone II won the title when they defeated Zone V in the final of the K-Electric ‘I am Karachi Under-19 Cricket Tournament’ here at the RLCA Ground in Korangi on Thursday night.
Mehmood Ali of Zone II was declared the man of the final and man of the tournament.
Salman Ali of Zone V was declared the best batsman. Mehmood Ali of Zone II grabbed the best bowler award. These leading players were handed over Rs5000 each.
K-Electric’s Chief of Staff and Chief Marketing Officer Osama Qureshi distributed prizes and gave trophies to the leading teams. The winners were handed over a purse of Rs100,000, while the runners-up went away with Rs50,000. In the tournament teams from seven zones and ‘I am Karachi XI’ took part.
