NA speaker directs to provide security to Fehmida Mirza

ISLAMABAD: Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has directed Secretary Interior and IGP Sindh to provide adequate security to former Speaker National Assembly and MNA Dr. Fehmida Mirza and her family.
The Speaker has given these instructions in response to a letter addressed to him by former speaker National Assembly Dr. Fehmida Mirza.
In a letter to the Secretary Interior and IGP Sindh, National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq instructed them to make proper arrangements for appropriate security of Dr. Fehmida Mirza and her family.
The Speaker also directed the concerned authorities to submit a report in this regard to him. He said as custodian of the House it is his responsibility to make necessary arrangements for the security of all members irrespective of their party affiliation.
