4 injured in Pakpattan incidents

PAKPATTAN: Four people were injured in separate incidents here on Friday.
Accused Zafar Iqbal entered the house of Muhammad Sharif at Mohallah Iqbal Nagar and allegedly beat him, his wife and a son with the help of an iron rod. As a result, all three were injured. Safia Bibi was busy working in her house when four accused including Rehmat allegedly attacked and injured her. Police have registered separate cases.
6 BOOKED FOR ISSUING FAKE CHEQUES: Police on Friday booked six people on the charge of issuing fake cheques in separate incidents here.
Accused Ali Sabir gave a fake cheque of Rs 500,000 to Afzal, which was bounced by the concerned bank. In another incident, accused Ali Shah gave a bogus cheque of Rs 420,000 to Maqbool Ahmad, which was dishonoured by the concerned bank. Accused Zafar Iqbal issued a fake cheque of Rs 120,000 to Fiaz Ahmad, which was bounced by the concerned bank. Accused Liaquat Ali gave a bogus cheque to Muhammad Yaseen, which was dishonoured by the concerned bank. Accused Zafar Iqbal gave a fake cheque of Rs 1.1 million to Muhammad Hanif, which was bounced by the concerned bank. Accused Abdul Razzaq issued a fake cheque of Rs 100,000 to Pir Bakhsh, which was dishonoured by the concerned bank.
VALUABLES LOOTED: Three dacoity incidents were reported here on Friday.
Four dacoits entered the house of Muhammad Tufail at Chak 1-KB and looted gold ornaments and cash. Imran was on his way home when four bandits snatched cash and a cell phone from him near Chowk Jamal. Zulfiqar Ali of Chak Kahan Singh was on his way when four dacoits took away valuables from him near Bridge 18-Wali. Police have registered cases.
WOMAN ABDUCTED: A married woman was abducted from Chak Pakka Sidhar on Friday.
The daughter of Muhammad Ramzan was on her way when four accused including Amjad allegedly abducted her. Police have registered a case.
