NAWABSHAH: PPP Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari’s lawyer Farooq H Naik has said that some forces want to oust PPP from the 2018 general election by making efforts to bar Asif Ali Zardari and Faryal Talpur from contesting elections.

He said this on Monday, while talking to media after appearing before the Returning Officer of NA-213 in connection with the objections on the nomination form of former president Asif Ali Zardari.

On the other hand, the two complainants, Raza Muhammad Dharejo and Saleem Bhangwar who submitted application against Asif Ali Zardari with the RO regarding the non-payment of land revenue of their 1500 acres of agriculture land, appeared before the RO Muhammad Mehboob Awan and withdrew their objection, saying that it was filed on certain misunderstanding.

Meanwhile, the leader of Sindh United Party, Falak Sher Oad filed objection on the nomination form of Asif Ali Zardari and appealed to give him some time. The Returning Officer fixed Tuesday to hear the objections of the complainant.
