Dr Muhammad Nasrullah Virk is likely to get second tenure as chairman of the Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore, it is learnt.
Sources privy to the developments said the Higher Education Department (HED) Punjab recently moved a summary to the CM seeking his posting as BISE chairman once again as his three-year tenure as chairman expired on March 28.
The sources said after the expiry of the tenure Dr Nasrullah Virk was directed by the department to continue working as chairman till further orders. They said as per policy chairman of any BISE could get maximum two tenures consecutive in the same board.
Secretary HED Aslam Kamboh was not available for comments.
