TOBA TEK SINGH: Kamalia Additional District and Sessions Judge Sardar Iqbal Dogar Tuesday awarded life imprisonment to murder accused Abbas and Sarfraz.
The court also fined Rs 150,000 to each accused.
The court acquitted their three co-accused Shoukat, Fayaz and Farooq giving them benefit of doubt.
Abbas, Sarfraz, Shoukat, Fayaz and Farooq were booked in a murder case by Pirmahal police for killing Farooq in Chak 671/12 GB in 2013 over a suspicion that the deceased had illicit relations with their relative girl.
HOUSE LOOTED: Robbers looted a house of a deaf and dump couple at Chak 681/22/GB near Pirmahal on Monday night.
According to police, Akhtar Hussain and his wife were present in their house when dacoits barged into the house and took them hostage. They took away Rs 80,000, golden ornaments and other valuables.
