Man kills boss for scolding him
A man stabbed his boss to death and left his brother injured to take revenge for being told off for taking leaves from work without permission, police said on Monday.
According to SHO Shariq Siddiqui of the Kharadar police station, the crime took place in a shoe factory in Lea Market’s Dodh Mandi late Sunday night. The SHO said that a police team immediately reached the factory after being informed and shifted the two victims to the Civil Hospital Karachi where one of them died.
The deceased was identified as Sarfaraz, the owner of the shoe factory, while the injured was identified as his brother Aijaz. Siddiqui further said Sarfaraz’s employee Khalid had availed three days of leave from the factory without getting approval from him. When Khalid came back to work on Sunday, Siddiqui had chastised him for the uninformed absences. After a heated exchange between the two, Khalid left the factory and returned again at around 8:30 pm along with two of his friends.
He then stabbed Sarfaraz and his brother Aijaz and then escaped from the site, the SHO said. After the medico-legal formalities, police handed over the bodies of the deceased to his family for burial and began a search for the suspects.
