Blocks not removed from Diljan Plaza despite CJP orders
PESHAWAR: The shopkeepers at Diljan Plaza have requested the Chief Secretary Muhammad Azam Khan to implement the orders of the Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar by removing the concrete blocks from the marketplace.
In a press release issued on Sunday, Diljan Plaza Shopkeepers Association said the honourable chief justice during his visit to Peshawar on May 9 had ordered the removal of the barricades and blocks in Cantonment area, including Diljan Plaza. The shopkeepers association lamented that the orders of the honourable chief justice had not been implemented in letter and spirit so far.
The office-bearers of the association exhorted the KP chief secretary to implement the orders of the chief justice of Pakistan and remove the blocks from the Diljan Plaza as soon as possible.
