IR offices to remain open on Saturdays

KARACHI: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) on Friday directed all the offices of Inland Revenue to observe normal working day on Saturdays till June 30, 2018 to meet revenue collection target for fiscal year 2017/18.
An office order issued on Friday said that to enhance the efforts to meet the budgetary target for the last few weeks of the current financial years, all field formations will remain open and observe normal working hours on Saturdays with effect from May 19, 2018 till June 30, 2018.
