BISP termed great initiative of PPP govt
MARDAN: Terming Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) a people’s friendly party, Senator Khanzada Khan on Thursday said that Benazir
Income Support Programme (BISP) was a great initiative of party’s previous government.
“Thousands of poor families are getting financial support through this programme,” he told reporters at Mardan Press Club.
District Information Secretary Mohammad Farooq Khan Hoti and other office-bearers were also present on the occasion. Khanzada Khan added that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) had failed to provide relief to the masses.
He maintained that the PTI chief Imran Khan had claimed that he would export electricity if came into power. “They are in power in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. But they have failed to build any major electricity project to overcome loadshedding in the province,” he went on to claim.
He added the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa would reject the so-called champions of change in the upcoming general elections.”We see no improvement in the condition of the hospitals and the old thana culture still prevails,” the PPP leader went on to claim.
