Veteran journalist Hasan Junaid passes away

KARACHI: Hasan Junaid Iqbal, senior sub editor at The News sports desk, passed away after brain haemorrhage in the early hours of Sunday. Family members said he died during his sleep.He has left a widow and a two years old daughter. His untimely death left all his friends in shock.Junaid, 56, had been associated with ‘The News’ for more than 10 years.Junaid was a senior journalist, having worked for different organisations over the last 25 years.
