Bahria Inter-School Baseball from 14th
LAHORE: Pakistan Federation Baseball (PFB) in collaboration with Bahria Town Sports Wing is holding Bahria National Inter-School Baseball Championship 2018 at Aashiq Hussain Baseball Stadium, Bahria Town from May 14.
Teams from Message Grammar School Izmir Town, Govt High School Manga Mandi, Ali Garh Public School Manga Mandi, Govt. Higher Secondary School Maraka Quarters, Allied School Depalpur Campus, Divisional Public School Model Town, Crescent School Shadman and Fikar-e-Iqbal School Gujranwala have confirmed their participation in the event. The last date for confirmation is May 10. Chairman PFB Shaukat Javed will be the chief guest at the opening ceremony of the event whereas and Brig (retd) Khalil Ullah Butt, Executive Director Bahria Town Lahore, will be the guest of honour at the closing ceremony.
Meanwhile Syed Fakhar Ali Shah, President PFB, said that federation is providing baseball equipment and baseball coaches to the participating teams. Fakhar also informed that this year Pakistan youth baseball teams will also participate in Under-12 baseball championship to be held in Taiwan and U-18 baseball championship in Japan. He added that this inter-school championship will help ion preparing strong teams for international events.
