LAHORE: PML-N leader MNA Hamza Shahbaz has said in general elections all the three wickets of PTI will be hit as Imran Khan must know that only a waistcoat is not enough to become a prime minister.

He added hardworking and public serving leadership like Mian Nawaz Sharif is important to be a real leader of the masses. Addressing the PML-N Workers Convention at Rahimyar Khan on Thursday, Hamza Shahbaz said Imran Khan could not mislead people with baseless allegations, adding if Senate votes were on sale in KPK, Imran himself was responsible for that.

He said despite five years’ criticism on metro bus project, the same metro bus was being launched in KPK. Once again Imran Khan had to leave Lahore with disappointment. If he requested, he could be taken care of in Walled City, the PML-N leader said.

Hamza Shahbaz said with the help of a loan defaulter and Qabza group, what kind of change the PTI could bring. Criticising the PPP, Hamza Shahbaz said people had not forgotten the looted money of Asif Ali Zardari kept in Swiss Banks and each penny of that would be recovered from him.

He said Zardari visited China many times, but for investment of 46 billion dollars on CPEC Nawaz Sharif was given the credit. Hamza Shahbaz said in south Punjab huge funds were used in five years.

“People know the reality that from Danish Schools to IT University every development project has been completed in Rahimyar Khan,” he said and added the Punjab government faced no allegation of a single penny corruption in these development projects.

He said if PML-N came to power again in 2018 elections, from Karachi to Khyber another phase of development would take place. Hamza Shahbaz spent a busy day in Rahimyar Khan and visited IT University and a gymnasium there. He met party office-bearers and heads of different sections. Punjab ministers, MNAs, MPAs and party leaders and workers were present.
