Faheem confident Pakistan will beat England
LAHORE: Pakistan star all-rounder Faheem Ashraf is focused on the series ahead with a vision of win against England and Ireland. Talking to media at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore, Faheem said, “Without a doubt we are confident to beat England. We are leaving early for England. We have a practice match their and I hope we adjust to their conditions as quick as possible.” Faheem, who received his maiden Test call, said it is a dream of every domestic cricketer to play Test cricket for their country. “This is the first time I got the call and will back it with my performances.” Speaking about his comparison with Chris Woakes, he said, “Woakes is playing for his country and I am playing for mine. He is performing well for England so I will try to perform even better.” “This is up to me to keep myself fit and healthy and serve Pakistan as long as I can.” Pakistan team will leave for England on Monday. During the tour they will play two Test matches against England and one against Ireland.
