Police hold Khuli Kutchehry in Mardan

MARDAN: The Mardan Police and Dispute Resolution Council (DRC) on Wednesday held a Khuli Kutchehry and traders also met the police authorities to discuss security situation.
District Police Officer Khurram Rashid Khan, DRC Chairman Ihsan Bacha, traders and people from other walks of life attended the event. Elders of the area asked the police authorities to take more steps to prevent the sale of ice. The DPO assured to take action against the issues and to tighten the noose around drug sellers and also to prevent youngsters from riding bikes.
Meanwhile, the traders of Mardan also met the DPO on Wednesday and assured to install CCTV cameras and depute guards in the markets. The DPO said the police would be alerted to secure the markets.
