PESHAWAR: Chief Secretary Muhammad Azam Khan has directed all the government departments to take file tracking system (FTS) as top-most priority so that official business may be disposed of efficiently.
A handout said the file tracking system would help stop delaying tactics in offices. In the instructions issued by PM & RU, it was stated that administrative departments would be responsible to ensure FTS operational in their respective attached formations, computerised bar code will be allotted to applicant or file owners. All the provincial departments have been made bound to dispose of file within a stipulated time.
The applicant will be informed time to time about the action taken on his application/file through his mobile phone. It is worth mentioning that track record and monitoring of all the applications will be kept in PM & RU through modern system. Action may be taken against those departments which failed to take timely action on the applications.
