Gas connection sought for Barikot tehsil

MINGORA: Residents of Gorthanai have stopped the officials of Sui Northern Gas Pipeline Limited (SNGPL) from laying pipelines in their village till addressing their reservations.
Locals also held a protest rally that was led by Sadiq Ali Khan, Fazal Wadood Bacha, Ajab Khan, Riad Ahmed, Shah Aleem Bacha and others.
The protesters said that SNGPL officials should provide gas connection to Musakhel village before laying the gas pipeline to other areas that would pass through their village.
They said that the SNGPL was laying the gas pipeline in the agricultural fields, adding that their reservation should be addressed first.
