Protest continues to condemn doctor’s kidnapping

KHAR: Tribesmen continued protest against the kidnapping of Dr Abdul Hameed on the second day on Sunday.
Dr Abdul Hameed, a doctor at the Agency Headquarters Hospital in Khar, was abducted on Saturday. He was released soon after the doctors announced their protest.
Hospital staff and paramedical association had given the call for the protest against the doctor kidnapping.
Hospital and clinics remained closed in the Bajaur tribal region. The protesters warned to expanding the strike to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Fata if action against the abductors was not taken.
The medical superintendent of the AHQ Hospital in Khar said the protest would continue till the rest of the accused.
