BRT to be completed in time: KP official
PESHAWAR: The Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project would be completed within the stipulated time as construction of 960 pillars out of the 1140 had already been completed, an official said on Saturday.
Project Manager Khalid Mukhtiar said the road leading to the Bacha Khan International Airport as well as Khyber Road had also been included in the project.
He added that 90 percent work on the BRT from Chamkani to Firdous and 50 percent work on Khyber Bazaar to Amn Chowk section had already been completed.
“The work is going on in full swing as per directive of the provincial government.
And all steps are being taken to complete project within the stipulated time,”
Mukhtiar said, adding, the services of more engineers had been acquired to expedite the work.
