Islamabad: The Shifa Foundation Islamabad and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Healthcare Commission (KPHCC) signed a memorandum of understanding to build the capacity of the KPHCC's field staff members on medical service delivery standards and their implementation across the province.
The MoU was signed by KPHCC Chief Executive Officer Azhar Sardar and Shifa Foundation BoG member Taimoor Shah, flanked by KPHCC Director (Operations) Arsalan Ahmad and other senior staff members of the two organisations.
“It is very important for the field officers of the KPHCC to be well-trained and that the service provided by the labs and other health facilities must be according to the internationally accepted standards of healthcare," Sardar said.
Under the MoU, around 45 field officers will get trained and the quality and standard of the private clinics and health facilities will improve. Speaking on the occasion, Shifa Foundation BoG member Taimoor Shah said his organisation, being a member of Shifa Family, shared a strong commitment to providing the best service delivery to patients all across Pakistan.
