Major General Muhammad Saeed, the head of the paramilitary Rangers in Sindh, urged the students on Friday to use their educational abilities for promotion of peace and constructive thinking in society.
The law enforcement agencies and the people of Karachi had jointly struggled for restoring peace in the city, he said during his speech at Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology. The Rangers director general called for looking at the city’s bright future by moving away from violent politics and sectarianism of the past.
