Amir to take charge on 5th

Pirzada said Amir’s willingness had been sought. He is a Grade-20 DMG officer, also having served as Deputy Commissioner Islamabad and had been a member of the Capital Development Authority (CDA). His services as acting DG PSB would be of great value for the Board until a new DG is appointed.
Pirzada said that the new rules for recruiting DG PSB were being framed. "The rules are being framed. Supreme Court had told us to form rules. National Assembly Standing Committee has approved rules which are being sent to the Law division and will be again sent to the apex court. And after taking a green signal from the apex court the post would be adverstised," the minister informed. The minister hoped that the services of a deserving and competent person as DG PSB might be got in the process as the highest standard of qualification and experience of sports administration were among the requirements of the post.
