Islamabad: A slight change in weather conditions has caused an increase in the number of visitors at the walking trails who now enjoy pleasant breeze while going through paths right into the natural environmental surroundings.
“The weather is perfect for a joy walk during the day time and now we don’t have to wait for a sunny day for this purpose. We see a lot of greenery and growing flowers here and these will increase in the coming weeks,” said Inayatullah, a visitor at Trail V in the capital city.
He said area around is now lush green with beautiful plants and birds singing during the hike, “The colourful flowers and birds signify the arrival of the spring season in the green capital of Pakistan.”
Young hikers are also seen at Trail-4 that is comparatively quite challenging and strenuous. Initially it moves along the Pir Sohawa Road and then takes a westward turn further into the Margallah Hills. “It is really challenging to hike on this trail but at the end it offers beautiful scenes of the city including rare glimpse of Faisal Mosque,” said Qosain Pasha, a young hiker.
