SWABI: Three brothers died and another one sustained serious injuries when a boundary wall of their neighbour’s house collapsed here on Thursday, the police said.
The incident occurred at Bamkhel village in the jurisdiction of Swabi city Police Station.
It was learnt that four brothers, identified as Inam Khan, Ikram Khan, Hakeem Khan and Ihtesham Khan were digging the foundations of walls during construction work at their home when the boundary wall, near which they were digging, collapsed. Four brothers came under the debris.
An announcement was made through loudspeakers about the incident. Police and people reached there within no time and retrieved the dead bodies and injured one.
The injured Ihtesham was taken to Bacha Khan Hospital Complex at Shahmansoor where the doctors referred him to a hospital in Peshawar due to his serious condition.
