Fawad terms Cheema’s arrest ‘a milestone’
ISLAMABAD: PTI spokesman Fawad Chaudhry said the arrest of Ahad Cheema was a milestone, alleging the head of bureaucracy mafia is Fawad Hassan Fawad. Talking to the media in the federal capital, he said breaking of mafia is indeed disbanding of Sharif mafia. Saad Rafique, Fawad Hassan Fawad, Ahad Cheema and Lahore DCO Muhammad Usman are a clique. He added these men are known in the Pakistan bureaucracy as ‘Pentagon’. He said Saad Rafique is the frontman of the head of this clique Shahbaz Sharif. He said Ahad Cheema awarded illegal contract to Paragon Housing Society in Ashiana Housing Scheme. Paragon’s owner is Saad Rafique and his brother. Cheema allegedly awarded illegal contract worth Rs14 billion to the company of Saad Rafique, he further added. Fawad said if Ahad Cheema becomes approver then the head of the gang Saad Rafique days will be numbered.
